How much does a service call or a new installation cost?
Every home and every project is different. Rather than a generic price, we assess your needs, sometimes from photos, sometimes during a visit. The estimate is free, and the price is written in the quote, before the work.
How soon can the work be done?
For an EV charger, a panel or a service entrance, allow about two weeks between the visit and the work. Emergencies come first: a master electrician arrives in 90 minutes or less, day and night.
Do you handle emergencies?
Yes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, anywhere in our service area. If you are unsure, the 20-second check on our emergency page helps you know what to do while you wait.
Does your work meet code?
Yes. STM-Électrique is a firm of master electricians who are members of the Corporation des maîtres électriciens du Québec, holding RBQ licence 5815-0137-01. The work follows Chapter V, Electricity, of the Québec Construction Code, and we handle the permit and the declaration of work when they are required.
Can I supply the charger or the light fixtures myself?
Yes, as long as they are certified for Canada, with the mark of a recognized certification body such as CSA, cULus or cETLus. For a charger, also check that it is on the Écorecharge program list before you buy if you want the rebate.

Yes. Besides homes and small buildings, we work in businesses: EV chargers, panels, lighting and emergency repairs.
